La Terrasse Cafe

A stylish restaurant in Puerto Princesa that serves amazing dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients. La Terrace Restaurant is the ideal venue for a romantic dinner in Puerto Princesa. The varied menu is based on high-quality local produce.

Opened in September 2010, the restaurant has transformed from a simple dining area into a two-story restaurant surrounded by green bamboo. La Terrasse offers a variety of delicious dishes. The menu is mostly inspired by European and Asian cuisine, with recipes for most dishes. Most, if not all, ingredients such as sauces and soups are made from scratch. Avoid additives, MSG, and processed foods.

A highly recommended dish is laksa soup (PHP 315), a delicious dish that will stimulate your taste buds. Ramen noodles, spicy chicken, shrimp, and tofu are dipped in a laksa broth and topped with fried shallots, garlic, mung bean sprouts, and herbs, and a lemon wedge for added flavor. For a local twist, try the Adobo Overload (PHP 380), a stew made with chicken and pork, spicy bean vinegar, adobo rice, and homemade mango sauce. Another dish that meat lovers particularly enjoy is the Barbecue Ribs (630 Php), which is made from pork ribs marinated in a coffee-based barbecue sauce before being grilled. The aroma and sharp saltiness of the coffee-based barbecue sauce complement the smokiness of the pork.

Seafood Tacos (PHP 325) and Crispy Duck Pie (PHP 300) are the best side dishes or snacks inspired by the Chinese specialty Peking Duck.

La Terrasse’s Boayan Cassava Royale (PHP 150) takes a serious look at cassava cake, a typical Philippine merienda delicacy. Baked tapioca cake wrapped in banana leaves is softer than usual and provides a moist, light and creamy experience. Palawan Honey Nougat (Php 390/bar) is not only a very popular dessert at La Terrasse, but also a keepsake or souvenir to take home. Made with wild honey and cashews, it’s a clash of flavors and textures in every bite.

La Terrasse has a variety of dining options and a romantic setting, and you’re sure to have a good time, both in terms of the food and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Another good thing is that this restaurant is not far from the airport and the state capital and can be a part of your adventure in Rizal Street, the city’s food and entertainment hub.
